The testimonial presented to the Rev. Charles Simson, late Presbyterian minister of St. Mathew's Church, Glenorchy, is now on view at the Council Chambers, Glenorchy.
The testimonial consists of a tea and coffee service, four pieces of frosted silver, manufactured in Melbourne by Messrs. Kilpatrick and Co., and bears the following inscription neatly engraved on the tea-pot: -
"Presented as a token of esteem to the Rev. C. Simson, by the friends of his pastorate, situated at O'Brien's Bridge and Hestercombe, where he officiated for nearly thirty years. Tasmania, 1871."
